Electrocardiograms (EKG) Resting EKG - resting assessment of electrical activity of the heart

Signal Averaged EKG - Quick assessment of a patient’s risk for ventricular tachycardia.

Exercise Stress Test - Treadmill stress evaluation of a patient’s risk for heart disease.

Echocardiography - pediatric and adult services

• Resting Echo - Summary of a patient’s cardiac structure and function
• Stress Echo - Evaluates the heart under stress. This study can be performed with exercise stress or a pharmacological stress.

Myocardial Perfusion Study (Nuclear Stress) - Nuclear isotope is used as a tracer to assess blood flow to the heart. This can be accomplished in combination with a treadmill test or medication stressor.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure - Monitor a patient’s blood pressure response over a 24 hour period. Assess the effectiveness of the patient’s current treatment plan, evaluate new symptoms or monitor medication changes with this new service.

Pulmonary Stress Testing

• Simple - Evaluate airway reactivity to exercise and the effects on simple spirometry.
• Complex - Full evaluation of cardiovascular fitness, as well as gas exchange during exercise.

Pulmonary Function Testing - Evaluate symptoms, diagnose the presence of lung disease, and monitor current therapies.

Electroencephalograms (EEGs) - Measure brain electrical activity in relation to symptoms or current therapies
