Our Team
Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sutter Davis Hospital has been working together to promote heart healthy lifestyles and exercise for more than 30 years. Our team dedicates themselves to getting to know everyone of their patients and by providing them with excellent service and education they can relate back to their everyday lifestyles.

  • Caprashean Hunt, M.S., is the manager of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sutter Davis Hospital. She is an experienced exercise physiologist specializing in cardiorespiratory physiology. Cappy received both her undergraduate and graduate training at the University of California, Davis in exercise science.

  • Russ Imbat, registered clinical exercise psychologist, received his bachelor's degree in exercise science in 1996. As an exercise physiologist, he has been involved in the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs and now is coordinating cardiac diagnostic services at Sutter Davis Hospital.

  • Claire J. Keeley, registered clinical exercise physiologist, received her bachelor's degree from UC Davis in exercise science. She is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine.

  • Staci Aikens, RDMS, is a cardiac ultrasound technologist.

  • Tanya Brosnan, exercise physiologist with Cardiac Rehab.

  • Elliott Wong, M.D. is the Medical Director of Cardiac Services.

Facilities
The Cardiac Rehabilitation department recently moved to a new location at Sutter West Medical Group's 2030 Medical Office Building (across the parking lot from the hospital). The new location brings more room and advanced technologies and equipment for our patients.

We have expanded our telemetry system to 12 channels and database capabilities for patient information and better communication for physicians. The gym has a cardiorespiratiory emphasis and includes seven treadmills, three elliptical walkers, four Neuteps, a stepmill and several bikes. Strength and stretch training are also key components and have a Cardiac Rehab has added a new focus on balance with a SportKat balance system for diagnostic and training programs. In addition, Cardiac Rehab patients have access to personalized Pilates training on a reformer Pilates machine.

Affiliations
Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sutter Davis Hospital is affiliated with the Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute. Sutter Heart & Vascular Institute's primary campus is Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento; but has programs at all area Sutter hospitals.

Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sutter Davis Hospital was nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation in 2005.
