UCD Chamber Music Concert to Benefit Sutter Davis Hospital Family Birthing Center      05-19-2010

DAVIS – A Friday concert titled “A Night of Chamber Music” and presented by University of California, Davis music students and faculty will benefit the Sutter Davis Hospital’s Family Birthing Center.

The concert will feature works by Brahms, Mendelssohn and others, with performances by UCD music students and special guest artists Jolan Friedhoff, Susan Lamb Cook and Miles Graber.

The benefit concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, at the Davis Community Church, 412 C St. in Davis. There is free admission, but the suggested donation is $12 general, $8 students and $5 children.

The concert will benefit the Sutter Davis Hospital Foundation’s “Happy Beginnings” campaign, which is raising funds in order to purchase advanced fetal monitors and raise the level of comfort and appearance of the birthing suites and patient rooms in the Family Birthing Center.
